I had the privilege to call Nick my colleague at DOF for many years. Everyone of us who knew and worked alongside him knew that underneath that grumpy exterior there was a heart of gold and a wicked wit. When all is said and done, however much you like your work, its the people that you meet in your workplace that really matter and colleagues like Nick are very rare; you don't come across many of them but when you do they leave a lasting impression.
