So sad to hear of the passing of Nick last week and my thoughts and prayers are with Diane, Matt, Amy and their families. I had the mostly good, sometimes hard going pleasure of working with Nick, but we always came out of it as friends - in spite of our differences in support of our respective football (soccer) teams. We all know he was a little grumpy at times, something he played on, but as Diane said beneath it all he was a big softy, and I know from our conversations that he was a great family man and so proud of his children and grand children. Working with Nick since the 90s in the UK and in Houston in the 2000s, I knew him throughout his early battles with cancer and saw the fight and determination in him to beat it, which he did and lived for another 15 years. I'll always remember him as a good friend, work colleague and family man who will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known him. Rest in Peace, my Friend.
