Nick and I worked together for a number of years at Racal and became very good friends with our families often getting together for events like Thanksgiving and New Years. He and Diane were the very best hosts and those time were exceptional and will never be forgotten. We still re-tell Nick's stories of the parrot escapes and eventual recapture and of course the potato gun event will live on forever.

After we moved back to Canada in 2000 Nick and I continued to talk virtually every day but like everything we eventually slowed down when Nick moved on to another job. I regret now that we did not keep the dialogue going.
